AI for Dummies is a site I made to help people without a technical background understand how AI chatbots actually work, and to put the scarier AI news stories in context. It's a single page of plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, built with Claude Code.
This one isn't here to show off technical skill. It's here because I'm interested in AI, I use it daily, and I think more people should understand what it is and isn't.
Everyday analogies stand in for jargon, and each section has a short glossary. Claims link to their sources, such as research papers, company reports and news coverage. Anything disputed or unverified is flagged. The tone aims to be reassuring without being dismissive. The risks are real and experts disagree about them, but today's AI only acts through the access people give it.
The site is 100% vibe coded with Claude Code. I supplied the subject knowledge, the structure and the editorial judgement, and Claude wrote the code. I haven't cared about the code here, and I haven't reviewed it closely the way I do for projects meant to be maintained. What matters is that it looks good, works in the browser and explains things clearly.
